American Non-Idle
Team Alpha is holding a contest available to all Olympus Junior High students and parents. In the contest we are going to see how many minutes students parents spend that they could be Idling but aren't. The person with the most minutes in the end will recievereceive a Razor Scooter!!! Second and third places will recievereceive a candy bar. Remember this is for Olympus Jr. High students ONLY. If you happen to be a student at OJH you will recievereceive a form to take home to your parents. It will require parents signituresignature so don't try anything sneaky! The contest is from Wednesday Oct. 8th to Wednesday Oct. 15th. To view a copy of the flyer
Getting Started
Team Alpha is a new organization and is still getting started so we haven't done much yet but have some plans for the future. We are planning on putting an anti-idling banner up at a location TBA. As soon as we get permisionpermission to put a banner up, we will post it on our web-site so you can look for it. It'll be totally awesome!!!!! We also are going to post flyersfliers at OJH.
Lexus Eco-Challenge
The Lexus Eco-Challenge is an environmental competition with three challenges that you can enter in, Land, Water, and Air/Climate. Our project is in the Air/Climate catagory.category. We encourage students to enter this competition.
